Chess Trust for Nationals

I won $10,000 yesterday. Thanks to my sister, Jess Bui Rieger for nominating me. Thanks to the Today Show for having us on. Thanks Kathie Lee and Hoda! Thanks to Hardee's for the money.

This money is for me, but I'm sure everyone who knows me knows this money is going to be used for chess. $10K would cover almost two years of the S. Weir Mitchell/ Minor Threats Chess Club's expenses. It would cover a bus and entry fees for up to forty girls to attend the 2019 All-Girls National Championships in Chicago through the Philadelphia Chess Society.

However, I'm thinking bigger. I'd like to use the money to start a foundation, probably through the The Philadelphia Foundation. My thought is that by using the interest to help fund trips to Nationals this money will help more kids and it will last forever. $10K isn't enough to start a foundation. I'm looking for groups or individuals to match my $10K donation. I haven't worked out all of the details yet, but I'm working on it. The goal of this campaign is to get 900 people to each donate $100.
