Chester Wilson Ottawa Bus Crash Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Chester was a victim of the tragic OC Transpo double-decker bus crash that happened on Friday, January 11th, 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario.

He was on his regular commute home from downtown Ottawa when the bus struck Westboro Station. Chester was rushed to hospital in critical condition with extreme blood loss and significant injuries to his lower extremities. He was immediately taken into emergency surgery where doctors were forced to amputate his right leg in order to save his life. The health care team is currently doing the best they can to save the left leg.

He was intubated with a breathing tube and kept under sedation for many days.
Unfortunately, since Friday night Chester has gone through 4 tedious surgeries with many more to come.

Chester is newly married, an active sports enthusiast and sports fan (especially the Buffalo Bills). He is a loving person who thinks of others before himself and is a true family man.

Chester and his amazing wife Allie are my brother and sister in law and we love them so much. This tragic crash has changed their lives forever and we want to help in any way we can throughout the long journey ahead.

Please help Chester and Allie on their road to recovery.
Thank you for supporting our family.
