Children Survive Domestic Violence

It is with profound pain and grief that we inform you of the passing of Monica Dominguez, on February 13th, 2019, at the age of 52, in her home in West Covina, California. Monica was a victim of domestic violence and her life was tragically ended as a result of a senseless act of intimate partner violence.
During this tragedy three grandchildren, Darlene age 6, Sarah age 12, and Christina age 13 survived, which Monica had adopted from her son Paul. Monica’s capacity to care for the girls was unparalleled and loved beyond most limits. She supported their growth and wellbeing every step of the way. Now, it is time for Andrew, the surviving son of Monica, to create a new home for the three girls in Kansas. These funds will help add on rooms to the home to make room for the girls.
In lieu of flowers, please support Andrew and his partner Chris during this heartbreaking transition with any monetary contributions. They will need help for the expansion of their home, relocation and resettling of the girls. It is fundamental and critical for us to build a home for the girls to heal and be loved as they process and cope with such heartbreak and loss. The girls will need all the support they can get to regain their sense of belonging and safety.
Memorial Information:
Monica’s funeral will be on March 1st, 2019 at 11am at Faith Church, located at 1211 E. Badillo St, West Covina, CA 91790, United States.
