In 1990, Chris Berube opened up a little rag tag theater in Hollywood with the intent of helping artists and the community. In the last 27 years, he has dedicated his life to helping others
Over the years, Chris has gone out of his way to help actors achieve their dreams of performing and surviving in Hollywood without asking for a dime.
He gives free workshops, Loans money with no interest to actors, gave space to recovery groups, started a children’s program to provide a safe haven, created an outreach program for the homeless to reconnect with their families and get them off the streets.
He has found vehicles and housing for struggling artists and has allowed artists with no money to produce their dreams on his stage.
He has done all this for 27 years. For free.
Even when people never even pay him back. Or complain when he couldn’t do more. Chris Berube Has kept his heart open and always stood ready to help.
But now Chris needs our help.
Recently, he has been diagnosed with numerous growths around his intestinal and colon. Cancer.
Although it has been caught in its infancy stages, If not removed soon, it could get very bad, very soon.
He has been told it would be a death sentence. With treatments, hospital care, and procedures…the medical costs are astronomical. Even with insurance deductibles and Medicare, the costs are in excess of 30,000.
Now it’s time for all of us to step up and help this man who has given so much to any that came and asked for help.
If we all just take a moment a give a few dollars this holiday season. If we all pitched in. We can help save this man’s life.
