Chris Carlson - WCJJO World Champs

I've recently been drafted onto USA's Sport Jujitsu team To fight at the WCJJO World Championships in Australia, in late October this year.

I'm in my 24th year of training under my instructor Anthony Brewer, starting when I was 5. I started teaching classes at the Karate school as a high school freshman, and I started competing in Karate, Judo, and Sport Jujitsu tournaments shortly after. 

I left the corporate world in 2015 to become a teacher. I realized that becoming a fortune 500 CEO was no longer my goal, and dove head first into substitute teaching, and later the credential program for Physical Education. I'm currently interning part time as a PE teacher in my city, while paying for, and taking a full load of credential program classes. With all of this going on, I won't be able to afford the trip to Australia on my own:

Flight: $1300
Hotel: $800
Team Uniform/Equipment: $250
Food/Misc Expenses: $150
