Chris Blowes Relief Fund
Donation protected
On 25 April 2015, Chris was attacked by a great white shark while surfing in Port Lincoln, South Australia. He sustained horrific injuries, ultimately resulting in the loss of his left leg.
This fund has been created to continue to support Chris following this traumatic event – providing much needed financial assistance to cover medical expenses, carers leave, rehabilitation and ongoing costs for Chris, Chloe and family. A loyal friend to so many– now is the time to show Chris your support.
Friends and family know all too well what a special person Chris is - a loyal friend, a keen musician, a lover of the water and a special son, brother and partner. While the medical staff at the Royal Adelaide Hospital have described Chris’ ability to survive the horrific circumstances he suffered as a ‘medical miracle’, those that know him would put it down to his stubborn determination.
