Christina Davison family
My name is Mike Akins and I've known Christina Davison since high school. She is one of the most caring people I know who would not hesitate to help someone in need. She's a loving, dedicated mom of two kids. Most know her as an incredibly talented face/body painter who's traveled the globe teaching workshops.
Recently, as she was looking forward to spending more time at home to focus on her family, a serious of very unfortunate events have left her as the sole income for her family. She is in the process of packing up her belongings, selling most, and leaving the house she loves because she can no longer pay the mortgage.
On Friday, February 17th, a car turned in front of her when she was taking her kids to school. Her kids are fine, but the wreck totaled her car and left her with a right-leg compound fracture, which required surgery to stabilize and will require more surgery in coming weeks.
On top of this, events beyond her control have possibly left her without insurance.
This injury means Christina cannot earn money for her family, with extensive medical bills looming and that pesky mortgage (until the house can be made ready to sell).
A little adversity is par for the course, but this a lot of traumatic life changes to swallow in only a month's time. That's why I want to help in any way I can. And if you know Christina, I hope you'll help too. Every little bit will add up.
