Christmas Gifts to the Homeless

Last year we raised about $350 to put goodie bags together homeless people. We were able to give out about 50 bags to the homeless people living at the Santa Ana Civic Center area. We went out at 6:30am to pass out the goodie bags Christmas week and everyone was very happy to receive something for Christmas. We gave water bottles, oatmeal bars, apple sauce, soup, beanies, gloves and even dog biscuits for those with pets.

This year we'd like to raise $1000 to put together 140 bags. There were many people that didn't get bags last year since we didn't have enough. We will be going out to distribute bags the morning of Christmas Eve. Our spend per bag will be $7. If you can spare $7, it could help one more person receive a goodie bag. They appreciate anything and expressed great gratitude for gloves, beanies, and other food items.
