Christopher Rodriguez & Roberto Gomez
Donation protected
On Sunday afternoon, September 15, 2019, Christopher Rodriguez, Roberto Gomez and Mario Lupercio Jr. were returning home when they ended up in a devastating car accident. Mario lost his life upon impact. It was his sixteenth birthday. There are no words to type here that would adequately describe the pain and anguish felt by Mario's family, his many friends, and his extended community. A link to his gofundme is here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/mario-jr-lupercio t
Christopher and Roberto were pulled from the burning vehicle by passers by. Roberto had internal bleeding. Christopher underwent several surgeries within the first few hours and days following the accident to repair internal organs.
This horrible, tragic accident will leave lifelong scars on them both physically and mentally. And the financial burdens of both will be carried by their families.
Any amount of prayer, shared story and/or monetary donation to these families is helpful beyond explanation.
More than anything, the organizers of this fund wish to remind Christopher and Roberto they are loved and we need them here on this earth. We ask that if you have a story to share, if you are a survivor of a terrible accident, please share a letter with Christopher and Roberto. Regardless of what happened that day, they are alive and they need love and support in order to heal. We thank you from the depths of our hearts for helping our friends. We need them to make it through this ordeal so we can all morn the loss of our dear friend Mario together and share the many wonderful memories we had together.
Letters to the boys can be sent to:

From Chris and Roberto's friends:
We want you to know that Chris and Roberto wanted nothing but too see each and every single one of their friends happy. Our circle is not the same without them. They made us laugh. They made us smile. We miss them because they were the kind of people you want to be around. It was always fun when they were there. Roberto is a very creative and very energetic boy who enjoys making others laugh and smile. He is just fun to be around. To us, Chris is known as “Big Kirk;” a big boy with a very big heart and a delicate boy (he is a great artist). Both boys are loved by many students who attend San Marin High School. It would be very much appreciated if you helped us reach our goal for these two boys and their families. Both boys are hanging in there and still we pray for them to have a quick recovery.
About the organizers:
This campaign is being managed by a close friend of both families and has their permission to mange on their behalf.
The organizers of this fund are all juniors at San Marin High School and took the initiative to start this fund for their friends on their own. The families and their community would like to thank them and will be forever in gratitude for their love and support.
