The Strong & Healthy Club at SUNY Oswego is hosting a circuit in hopes to fundraise and promote STD Awareness Month this April. This circuit will gather SUNY Oswego students to raise money for the World Association for Sexual Health.
"The World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) promotes sexual health throughout human lifespans all over the world by developing, promoting and supporting sexology and sexual rights for all. WAS accomplishes this by advocacy, networking and facilitating information exchange of ideas and experiences, while concurrently advancing scientifically based sexuality research, sexuality education and clinical sexology with a trans-disciplinary approach." (http://www.worldsexology.org/organisation/).
Circuit for a Purpose has involved several other organizations to participate in this event. With a day full of fitness, music, food, dancing, and much more, the Strong & Healthy club hopes to raise awareness on this important topic by involving health and sexual health education throughout this month and raise awareness by hosting Circuit for a Purpose.
