Tiny Kitten with Big Leg Fracture

Donation protected
Hello!
Hello my name is Tuxie Guinness.  I am a mere 1.8 lbs, estimated to be about 7 weeks old and I was clipped by a passing car in the East Village!  My rescuer's son saw it happen.  I was cold, in shock, and anemic and my left back leg is pretty badly fractured but luckily I suffered no internal injuries.  The cost for my treatment is rapidly adding up and we need help to cover the costs already incurred (over $2,000) and for post surgery costs.

My rescuer brought me to City Critters  on Sunday (10/4) late afternoon (resting on a pair of boxer shorts and in a paper bag?!?!).  I've gotten x-rays, an ultrasound, a few blood tests, pain meds (YAY), vaccines, flea treatments (I was covered in them), deworming meds and a lot of doctor and nursing care and the bills are wracking up!  Now I need surgery and rehab and maybe other treatments to protect me as my body fights back to heal.

About City Critters
City Critters is an all-volunteer cat rescue and adoption group formed as a 501(c)(3) in 1994.  They find homes for approximately 300 animals per year and assist hundreds more by providing food and veterinary care.

I am just one of their lucky rescues so please help cover the costs for my treatment so they can provide care for me and others in the future.
