Civil War Cemetery

We are attempting to restore a Grand Army of the Republic cemetery in Nevada City, Nevada County, California (Pine Grove Cemetery). Buried here are 28 identified Union  Veterans of the American Civil War 1861-1865, and 3 veterans of the "Mexican War" 1848. We need to clean and carefully restore the headstones and place a bronze plaque explaining who these men are and what they did. We want our grandchildren's grandchildren to read about these men 100 years from now. Any public help would be greatly appreciated. Dan Baldwin, Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War.
