Commercial Fisherman's Memorial USA

Personal and loving tributes to the unsung heroes who "go down to the sea in ships" (Psalms, 107:23-30, KJV).
I was raised by a commercial fisherman, to be one. They (we) are a special breed, and provide an invaluable service to America. I started when I was just 4-years old, and had 25 years experience by the time I was 32 ! My Daddy "crossed the bar" on Feb 14th, 2012, after working more than 55 years in the commercial fisheries industry--mostly chasing shrimp. He was a friend and mentor to everyone he knew and worked with. I soon realized that his legacy in the industry was short-lived, as time marches on. There are many, many commercial fishermen and fisherwomen like him that deserve to be fondly remembered. There are many others who contributed to the industry, such as dock-owners and processors, boat and net builders, publishers, researchers, scientists, and family members, who deserve to be remembered.
Please help me to Create Lasting Memorials online for your loved ones, for family and future generations to see and read about. http://commfishusa.net/index.html
