Compassion for All

It has always been a heart wrenching thing to see  people on the streets with no home. My heart has always been to help others, especially those in need.

Here is one instance of many where we have helped someone in need:

A month ago, I was drawn to speak to a young woman who was kicked out of her parents home to live out of her car. She had gone to school for web development, but didn't get to finish as she was kicked out of her parents home. She has some medical issues as well, which makes living on the streets more difficult. I had been keeping in contact with her and found out her car was towed while she was in the hospital. My husband and I got her car out of the tow yard, gave her clothes for the winter as she didn't have any and now she is on her way to her grandmothers. Before leaving, I gave her a care package that includes the items listed below. She has since contacted us saying that she isliving with her grandmother and is in the process of finding a job! It feels so good to help others!

All the funds will go to supplies for care packages, taking them out to a meal, and anyother way we can heIp those in need, this includes our veterans. You can follow us at: http://compassion-4-all.blogspot.com/ so you can see the many lifes that are touched because of your gracious giving.

Each packages comes to $15.00 and includes:
1 Pair of Socks, 1 Washcloth, 1 Package of Wipes, 1 Razor, 1 Deodorant, 1 Toothbrush, 1 Toothpaste, 1 Soap, 1 Shampoo, 1 Conditioner/Lotion, 1 Toothbrush container, 1 Soap holder, 1 Lip Balm, 1 First Aid Kit, 1 Manicure kit, 2 Granola bars / Beef Jerkey, 1 package of garbage bags, 5-8 sanitary napkins, and of course a bible or track!

There are so many homeless/veterans in the area and I am willing to get the items needed, package, hand out the items and take them for a meal. It is nearing winter and we'd like to blankets, yoga mats (to keep a layer between them and the ground), coats, hats, and gloves/mittens to keep them warm.

As a believer, not only do I wish to help the poor, but the widow and orphan as too. Will you help me be a light of hope to those in need? Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thank You
