Cornelia Lewis Homegoing

Our mother, Cornelia Lewis, won her 6 year battle with cancer on Friday 2/6/15. On 7/2/09 when her battle began, the doctor told her there was NOTHING that could be done. A year later she was in remission. She maintained her remission for almost 3 years before her cancer became active again. For the last 2 years our mother underwent chemo therapy, radiation and constant hospitilization in hopes she will be in remissin again. Even when she closed her eyes at 1:00 am on Thursday 2/5/15 in thoughts she was just going to sleep for the night and wake tomorrow she sill fought. In her sleep she jerked and moaned tring to still fight and wake back up. Until she took her last breath and 10:35 pm on Friday she still fought, but this time she won. She has won the ultimate "remission" status.  Her goal was to beat her cancer and she did.

During the course of her fight we took on unbelievable expenses. We do not have the funds to give our mother the home going service she deserves. In honor of her fight, would you please help us?
