Corvallis Pedicab Green Initiative

Corvallis Pedicab is celebrating nine years in business as Corvallis' only bicycle taxi service.  Throughout this time, we have developed strong community ties; the business has sustained itself through support from our community, responsible business practices, and use of the greenest practices whenever possible.

We want to give back even more toward the betterment of Corvallis' local environment.  This year, we are launching the "Corvallis Pedicab Green Initiative," which will focus on regular, local litter pickups.  The funds will be used to cover cleanup supplies and disposal fees, food and/or other compensation for our appreciated volunteers, and other costs that may come up in relation to our cleanup efforts.  In addition, we are installing an electric motor on the main pedicab, to be charged with partial solar energy.  This will help our drivers with carrying loads up hills, and allowing for an easier overall pedaling experience.  

Our goal is to raise these funds in the next few months before our busy season picks up.  Your support, no matter how large or small, will be put toward a cleaner Corvallis.  The litter problem here can be alleviated through cleanup efforts, which has been a long-time passion of Corvallis Pedicab owner and operator Dan Crall.  We want to empower volunteers to put their energy toward a tangible solution, and cut back on the mess.  From this point forward, it is the company goal to put effort toward a new green initiative annually.  Please help make this first year a success!
