CotW Calais Trip -your help needed!

*EDIT* you gorgeous people achieved our taget of £500 with 6 days to go, so I'm doubling our target to £1,000. The extra money will go on more fresh food and gloves.
------------
The Calais camp may no longer be there but 2000 people still are, living in squalor and under constant threat of police brutality.
This includes hundreds of unaccompanied, vulnerable children. Meanwhile, just 30 miles away in Britain, the Home Office throws millions of pounds into 'border security,' but refuses to fulfil its obligations under the Dubs Amendment.
As a harsh Winter rages on, reminding the people our Government is failing that they haven't been forgotten is more important than ever. That's where we come in - but not without your help!
February 3rd, the Citizens of the World Choir are on a mission to Calais with much needed supplies (warm clothes, sleeping bags, food). Funds will go to Refugee Community Kitchen, life savers who serve up over 750 meals a day to those left behind.
In the face of such a dispassionate Government, civil society and the kindness of strangers are too many peoples' only hope. As a matter of urgency, please give generously!
