Aaron Beaugard's medical & recovery

On Thursday, September 17, 2015, our son, 22 year-old Aaron Beaugard was involved in a motorcycle accident, severing both of his legs at the knee and leaving him with other injuries, including a shattered left arm and a broken thumb along with severe road rash on his arms. He was airlifted to University Hospital where Doctors worked on him that evening to get him stable and to stop the bleeding to save his life. Since then, he has had multiple other surgeries to stabilize his broken arm and both of the upper parts of his legs. Aaron has come a long way in just a week, and continues to defy doctors. Losing both of his legs from two inches above the knee is a difficult pill to swallow, but Aaron is determined to walk again and will be having a lot of physical therapy in the near future to assist him in that process. Despite Aaron’s positive attitude, there is still concern about the mounting medical bills from the motorcycle accident, the medical treatment and the rehab equipment along with counseling and other essential items he might need.
Aaron does not have medical insurance and the medical expenses are expected to exceed hundreds of thousands of dollars. That is why I am graciously asking for any support for Aaron from our family, friends and our community by donating anything you can to this recovery fund. Any help would be greatly appreciated and with all the love and support he is getting from everyone makes the determination he has a lot easier.
