Jeffrey Jennings Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Zack Van Dyke of Grandville, MI, Rachel is my stepsister by marriage of my mom Lois Van Dyke and her dad Mark Huizenga. We've known each other for over 15 years, and I've known Jeffery since he was a baby. I have started this campaign to help Rachel and Andy, and their girls, to pay for funeral expenses, grief counseling, etc. i can't thank you enough for helping them. I can't imagine losing a child.
A note from Jeffery's mom:
"This is the hardest post I've ever written. Last night, my only son, Jeffrey, was killed in a car accident with an underage driver. We do not know the details of how he ended up in that vehicle or many details at this point because we are waiting for the police to update us on the investigation. There is so much I could say, but all I want to say right now is that we are all devastated. Jeffrey was only ten years old. I let him go play at his friend's house just down the street for what was supposed to be about 45 minutes, and he never came home. He was the most affectionate, friendly kid you have ever met. His last days were happy, special ones filled with family and friends. There is a lot of media coverage of this accident because of the underage driver. We appreciate all the prayers and condolences and the outpouring of support from our community more than you will ever know. We need your prayers. This little boy had a special effect on everyone he met. He was everyone's friend. I love him and I will never stop missing my little boy. Please respect the privacy of my older children on social media. We are a very close knit family and they are struggling right now. Thank you again for all the love and support. I'll update sometime in the future, but I have no idea when."
We, Jeffery's extended family, have a huge hole in our hearts. The vehicle that Jeffery was in was not insured at the time, so his funeral expenses, grief counseling for the girls, and any unforseen expenses will be paid out of pocket. We are not sure how that is going to play out as of yet. Any help or support you can give this family will be unconditionally appreciated. Please help us give him the funeral he deserves, and his immediate family the support it needs through this difficult time. Any extra proceeds will be donated to a children's charity in Grand Rapids.
