Create a sensory garden at Eastway Primary school

Donation protected
We are parents of children from Eastway Primary School in Morton, Wirral. We would like to raise £10,000 to create some sensory garden areas around the school for the children. Sensory gardens have a vast range of benefits and are a perfect way to improve sensory development. A sensory garden stimulates all the senses all through the use of different plants, materials and equipment. These gardens also allow children with special educational needs to explore their senses in a safe and stimulating environment. As much as the gardens will be used by all the children they will have an extra benefit for children with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Asperger's, and social and communication delay. This would allow the teachers to take learning outside the four walls of the classroom in an environment that encourages the children without the feeling of being overwhelmed.

We need your help to raise £10,000 for our interactive sensory gardens this could be a gift of £1 up to the full £10,000. It's an ambitious target but we can't do it alone. Your help would mean the world to the teachers and children. Thank you
