Creating Family Together

Many children placed in the child welfare system do not have the option to return home.  Some of these children have also been unsuccessful with foster and/or adoptive families due to their age, emotional state, and mental health needs.

When children are considered hard to place, they spend an unfortunate amount of time in Residential Treatment Facilities or Shelters. New Way Youth Services believes every child deserves a place to call home and together we can create a new experience for adolescent females ages 14-18 who are in placement without a place to call home.

New Way Transitional Living Program is a licensed, long-term housing option for adolescent females in RTF's or shelters who can step down into a structured home setting that offers love, support, daily living skills, access to community resources, and the normalcy every child needs to develop in to healthy, productive adults. We are seeking donations to maintain the expenses associated with the program we built. (List of program needs is on the website at www.newwayys.org )

Last year, we created a fundraiser titled Forging a New Way seeking $10,000.00 to assist with start-up expenses to help us build this program.  We raised $85.00 during that campaign and although we were tremendously grateful, we thought for sure we would not be able to actualize our mission to serve this special demographic. But God had a different plan.  By our staff electing to forfeit our salaries and picking up overnight warehouse shifts at Amazon, God allowed us to not only open, but to be of service to five youths in crisis to date!

Because we believe in miracles and in God's timing, we have decided to campaign again knowing that any amount received goes towards the fulfillment of God's will that we stay steadfast and determined to advocate for these youths in need.
