Hello,
On behalf of Crista Tarvin's family, we decided to make a GoFundMe to help with the cost of her medical bills as well as personal expenses since she will not be able to work for the next few months.
On Sunday, October 23rd Crista went hiking with her friends at Forest Falls. When coming back down she slipped down a slope of rocks. She was leaning forward and took full impact to her face. She was air lifted immediately to Loma Linda Medical Center. Consequently, she ended up breaking her nose, dislocating her top jaw from her skull, fracturing her face and losing 4 teeth.
Her injuries will require surgery and consistent medical attention throughout her recovery process. With all this required medical attention comes a very expensive medical bill. We are hoping to fundraise about $20,000 to cover some of the medical expenses that will aid in her speedy recovery. The helicopter service alone is said to be over $45,000 *
About Crista:
Crista is a Psychology major at California State University San Bernardino, expected to graduate this Spring 2017. She is also an active alumni member of Zeta Tau Alpha, Kappa Theta Chapter. She is also a Sweetheart of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
All funds raised will be withdrawn under the listed beneficiery Jacqulyne Seale (Crista's mother) and then delivered to Crista. She will be taking care of her for the next few months of her recovery process.
