As some of you know and some of you don’t I have been struggling for the past four years with necrotizing pancreatitis. I have had numerous surgeries and I’m on multiple medications that I cannot afford. My prescriptions are costing me over 1200 a month being on a fixed income only making 2100 a month I cannot afford these medications for the first eight months of the year I’m OK because my insurance pays the majority of it but at this time of the year I go into what’s called a donut hole and my insurance won’t pay for these medications! So I usually end up going with out my needed medications. Unfortunately I’m not able to get any discounts for the medications because I’m on disability and they do not allow discounts which doesn’t make any sense but it is what it is! My illness has taken a major toll on my body. Surgeries have removed 3/4 my pancreas my spleen my gallbladder part of my colon and part of my small intestine. I suffer daily with vomiting, nausea and diarrhea. I’m in the hospital on a regular basis due to dehydration . Especially from November to April I am almost always in the hospital because I cannot afford my medications. Thus my body breaks down due to not being able to afford my meds. I’m not asking for the world I’m just asking for a little help!!!! Any and all will help. Thank you in advance!! Here are just a few pictures of my body and what I have gone through in the last three years!!!
