Crossroads K-9s for Cops
Tax deductible
Crossroads K9 Rescue, Inc., (a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization), is seeking donations for the Crossroads K-9s for Cops program, benefiting 2019 recipient, the Rhinelander Police Department.
Crossroads K-9s for Cops was formed in memory of fallen Everest Metro Police Detective, Jason Weiland.
A police K-9 personifies Jason’s philosophy of proactive policing and fierce dedication to those he served with. This program is a tribute to his life, service to his community, and passion for law enforcement.
This years's K-9 will not only share Jason's name, but also his badge number of 1274.
The addition of a K-9 directly benefits our communities by deterring crime, locating missing persons, and apprehending violent suspects with less than lethal force.
The Rhinelander Police Department was selected to be the recipient of this year’s K-9 package because of their passion for bettering their community and dedication to the safety of the Rhinelander citizens. They are also willing to share this valuable resource through mutual aid to surrounding departments and county agencies whenever possible.
This year’s goal is to provide a complete K-9 package to this community-focused department, at little, to no cost to the department or tax payer.
We are asking for your support to help us help those that serve us every day. A K-9 brings a new level of safety and security for everyone in our communities, so let’s join together to get these valuable members of the police force in the department’s hands!
