2018 comes with many opportunities to defend and resist the unjust changes that have emerged during the last twelve months. 

January 8th is the day the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will decide to extend or cancel the temporary protection status for 195,000 Salvadorans.

January 19th is the next government funding deadline. This is the time when Dreamers and their allies must put pressure on both parties in the Capitol to put a legislative fix into a spending agreement that allows a solution to the status of these immigrants.

March 5th is the deadline for the Trump administration to terminate DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals).

Before we become overwhelmed, today is the perfect time to take a breath and reflect on how you can make a difference this year.
