Share A Smile

on Saturday, September 29-2018 some thieves broke into the garage at Harbour City Dental Hygiene and stole many items including 2 carts filled with mobile dental equipment. This equipment was used for the charity "Share a Smile" dental missions. This mobile dental equipment was used to provide free dental care to people in the remote communities of Vancouver Island who do not have easy access to dental clinics. The equipment was stored in Stanley FatMax tool carts, and was probably thought to be tools. Instead, the thieves made off with more than $10,000 worth of dental equipment that will be very difficult for them to resell.
Share a Smile is a non-profit society comprised of a group of volunteers who travel to isolated communities with no access to professional dental care. They are currently preparing for an annual trip to Nootka Sound where they spend two days in each community of Kyuquot, Zeballos and Tahsis.
Please post this information to as many people as you can. The Share a Smile volunteer team really needs the equipment for their upcoming mission this month. Here's hoping it will, somehow, be returned.
