To buy a Cold Bed - (cuddle cot)

My Wife and I were on track for our first child together, A baby Boy, we were both so happy and over the moon and could not wait to me him. At the 37 week mark my wife went for usual doctors appointment and doctors could not find a heartbeat. We rushed up to the hospital to be told to be told sorry. Our Baby boy was no longer alive. We are still yet to find out answers why and maybe will never know. Four days later my wife gave birth to our sleeping son Leroy James Schulz. 

The same weekend we were at the hospital suffering, there was three other couples who went through the same rotten experience. 

We would love to raise enough money to buy the Logan Hospital a cold bed. A Cold bed (Cuddle Cot) is a special machine designed to keep the baby cool for parants to spend some time with their baby without having to keep getting them back from the morgue. The cot will allow parants to even take their baby home for a few days to spend time with if they wish.

So if you could please donate to this that would make our day and I am sure will help many other families out there if they have to go through this.

In Australia there is over 2000 still born deaths a year, If we could help these families have the chance to spend just a few days with their babies then we would feel like we have achieved something good since Leroy passed.

With all the overwhelming response we have received, we have decided we are going to keep going and raise enough funds for a second bed. This time we are teaming up with Emerikus Land Foundation. Please check out their website/Facebook for more information on the charity.

So far we have raised a further $500 towards our next cold bed. We are still deciding what hospital we will donate too, but will be a Brisbane hospital (any suggestions are appreciated)
