The Curse on Mordrake House takes place during the late 1800's and in the fictional village of Winston's Heath, located in rural England. Written in iambic pentameter, the play revolves around Sir Mordrake, a member of the landed gentry whose pride makes him believe he lives outside the ethical scope of common men. For his arrogance, callousness, and lechery, he’s cursed by a Summer Walker to have his three children taken from him through supernatural means. “Your first will die by water. Second, sky. The third, she will be swallowed by the woods.” Mordrake struggles with a reality that he cannot understand as five vignettes reveal the fate of his sons and daughter while exploring themes of faith and morality.

Please share this campaign with your friends and family! In addition to monetary donations, another way you can help this production become the best it can be is to tell your friends and family to come see the show! Theatre is not theatre without an audience, and we want to share our work with as many people as possible. We appreciate all of the help you can provide, and hope that you will attend one of our performances to see the results of your donations on the stage!
A note about our donation levels: If you donate $500, for example, you will receive the performance DVD or electronic version in addition to all of the rewards at lower reward levels. So, you would receive the performance DVD, featurette, sonnet video, signed poster, and a thank you video for donating $500. As another example, if you donate $100 you would receive the sonnet video, a signed poster, and a thank you video. Please note that there is a limited quantity of each item and they are only available while supplies last, so once we run out of a certain reward we will not be able to provide more of them, even if you donate at a higher level. For example, if we run out of sonnet videos someone who donates $500 for the performance DVD would get all rewards except for the sonnet video. Thanks for your understanding, and feel free to reach out with questions.
