D Blood-Staggers Memorial Fund

As many of you know, Danny Blood passed away Tuesday afternoon due to a motorcycle collision on West Street.
We are trying to raise money for his family to help with medical and memorial expenses, ect. Every donation counts. All extra proceeds will go into an account for his neice and nephew who were his pride and joy.
Danny, a Keene High graduate, played football for the Blackbirds, and later studied sports management at Becker College in Worcester, Mass. Danny was able to continue to enjoy his passion for football as a member of the Monadnock Marauders, a Keene-based semi-professional team.
In a Facebook post Tuesday, Bob Lund, a retired sports broadcast personality in the region now living in Florida, remembered Blood as “one of the toughest football players I had the privilege of announcing/writing about at Keene High, and later with the Marauders.”
Danny had recently purchased a home and was working on growing his business that he started on his own. His reputation spoke for itself through his Various commercial and residential accounts. He was a very energentic, hardworking and upbeat individual who loved his family and friends. His strive for perfection and competetive nature made his appearance known. It didn't matter if he was on the football field or hiking a mountain, he wanted to be the best and would push everyone else to do their best. Danny was by far the most passionate individual alot of us have ever met, whether he was talking about the love for his family, the beautiful rustic look of an old piece of wood or the incredible colors coming from the leaves from the New England fall foliage. He was always down to do whatever and capitalized on every moment of every day. He was a best friend to alot of people and he will never be forgotten from the impact he made on all of the lives he had to opportunity to interact with. He was the best of all of us and it is extremely difficult to say goodbye.
