Furnace for 81 yr old UC Resident

A group of people in Union City, MI are trying to raise $2,800.00 for an 81 year old woman to replace her furnace.  Her furnace broke down and when we sent someone to fix it, we discovered that she needed an entire new unit.  She does not have the money to replace her furnace.  We had several leads for organizations that might assist her or individuals who might install one but when it came down to it, the type of unit and amount of work all led us back to the original esimate and the need to raise the money on our own.  We have raised a nice portion of this money already but many have suggested a Go Fund Me page as a means to raise the rest of the needed funds.  If anything extra is raised along the way, the money will simply be applied to the woman's electric bill as she's been using electric heaters in the absence of her heater.  This woman is very worthy and very much in need.  We would like to get this furnace ordered by next week.
