Be an angel for Gabriel

Thank You!First off I'd like to thank the first responders, surgeons and hard working staff at Marry Bridge Children's Hospital. Without them my beautiful son would not be here with us today.
Thursday morning on our way to school my son and I were involved in a horrific accident and sadly my son sustained life threatening injuries. The impact of the collision fractured his skull and several bones in his back. Unfortunately the extent of his injuries are not fully known as new ones seem to be surfacing daily. As of now Gabriel has had several surgeries in which doctors removed shrapnel from his brain, a large blood clot and rebuilt the right side of his head with titanium plates and screws. We are anticipating more surgeries as swelling has taken over his poor little body. The medical staff here has come to the conclusion that he has slight internal bleeding in several locations. At the moment it is not life threatening and the surgeons are not wanting to put him under any more stress at this time.
Gabriel is the sweetest little man you could ever meet. He's a breath of fresh air and his smile brightens the room. Everyday he amazes me and makes me so proud. I'm truly blessed to have such a wonderful boy in my life. His dream is to become a pilot and travel the world rescuing lost children. It's the cutest thing ever! He has the biggest heart and it just brakes mine seeing him in so much pain. He is always trying to make others laugh and smile and has won over the hearts of the staff here in the hospital.
My husband is too proud and hard working to ask for help. I believe being here surrounded by so many sick and injured children makes it worse. I can't stand the helplessness I see in his eyes and the guilt that regardless of how much pain our son's in, we're luckier than others. It's taken a toll on him and he's starting to shut down. His children are his world and vise versa. He hasn't slept in days and won't leave Gabriels side. The bills are staring to pile up and our co pay has no exceeded $50,000! With our only vehicle totaled, the costs for new procedures, physical therapy, speech therapy and my husband and I having to take so much time off of work, I'm terrified and I have no idea how were going to make it through this ordeal.
