University of Riverfalls Dance Theater Compay 

The purpose of Dance Theatre is to promote an appreciation of dance as an art form for the university and non-university population.  The goal of the organization is to create high quality dance performance for the audience while simultaneously providing dance theatre members with a valuable learning experience.  Dance Theatre provides students with an opportunity to develop the human potential intellectually, creatively, physically, and emotionally while interacting with one another in a demanding learning environment.  The success of the organization is determined by each individual's ability to cultivate his/her sense of responsibility maturity, commitment and awareness of others.  Emphasis is never placed solely on ability but rather on one's desire to participate in the creative process that culminates in artistic performance.  The skills required for optimal success in Dance Theatre are valuable lifetime skills that assist one in individual growth and self-actualization, leadership and cooperation within a group.

We are looking for donations for our spring semester performance. Times have been hard as budgeting and funding for the Art on Campus has dwindled in the past year. Much of Dance Theaters annual budget was cut and we are looking to the community of family, friends and lovers of dance to help us fund our initiative.
