Cleft Palate Puppy needs surgery
Donation protected
Our pups Dan and Ann were born with severe cleft palate due to their momma and daddy being poisoned during pregnancy. The veterinarian didn't give us much hope on our pups surving and unfortunately, Ann did pass away. However, Dan has been back to the vet and she said he is doing great! She also said that until we can get him surgery to reconstruct his hard palate and nose he is still at risk for pneumonia and upper respiratory problems, as well as malnutrition since he has to be tube fed. Between the cost of saving out two fur babies when they were poisoned just a couple of months ago to now frequent visits and an upcoming surgery, we are having difficulty funding the medical bills. We just could not euthanize the baby pup even though it was given to us an option. Right now, we are not exactly sure how much the surgery will cost us as we have to get a consultation in another 6 weeks but we have been told it can cost quite a bit. Any help or prayers that you can offer is appreciated beyond measure!
