Help Daniel Higgins fight against Leukemia

We are so grateful for your support of Daniel’s fight against leukemia! Daniel and Tiffany are devoted parents to 4 beautiful children — Elizabeth, Reed, James, and Jase. Daniel was diagnosed with leukemia 10 years ago and has continued to work and support his family throughout the chemotherapy. Additionally, Daniel’s father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease so Daniel and his siblings have been offering various kinds of support for their parents along the way.

Daniel’s initial reaction to the chemotherapy was very positive and all of his blood levels responded well for a while. However, over the years the chemotherapy drugs have become less effective as the leukemia has mutated. The oncologist has had to change his chemotherapy regimens over the years. Most combinations have been tried and the team of doctors at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center have suggested a bone marrow transplant. After the transplant Daniel will require months of hospitalization and treatment where he will not be able to work.
