Vet Bills for Hemi the Cat

Hemi was a stray, but not ferile.  He showed up one day looking for food.  He purred and rubbed - how could I turn my back on such a beautiful boy.

So, I took him in and brought him to a vet.  He tested positive for FIV - strike 1.  I was now devoted to this baby.

A few months later, Hemi got into something that fell on his foot.  It broke the toes in his left foot - back to the vet - strike 2.  After 6 weeks in a splint he is still confined to a large cage to continue healing.

A few days ago Hemi couldn't pee.  I rushed him to the emergency vet - strike 3.  He was blocked.  They catherized him and now he is ok.

Yesterday I had an appointment at the vet to have him neutered and for a follow up on his previous problems.
All is well!
