DAV Heroes Need Our Help!
DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS CHAPTER #44 NEEDS OUR HELP!
DAV Chapter #44, located here in Middle Township, is dedicated to its mission of transporting our local heroes to healthcare appointments throughout the Delaware Valley.
In a recent conversation with DAV Hospital Services Coordinator Fred Trasatti, Jr., I learned that the organization had lost the funding source that paid for the insurance on the three vans used to transport our vets.
We need to raise $6200, before August 1st 2018 or the vans may have to be pulled off the road!
This would leave many of veterans with no means of transport to area VA healthcare facilities.
We like to say everyday, "Thank you for your service." Here is a chance to prove we really mean it!
