Documentary on Childhood Sex Abuse
Thank you for supporting this Go Fund Me page. Your donations will help offset the production and travel costs for the upcoming documentary film, A Peloton of One. As well as help with future projects to be conducted by the upcoming, The Peloton of One Foundation.
Thanks to donations to date, we have completed Phase 1: the production of a sample short film, which also serves as Act 1 of the documentary.
Phase 2 (COMPLETED): The filming of Dave's epic bicycle ride in October of 2018. We just came back from the road from an incredibly inspired and successful film shoot. Dave had a great reception from Family and Friends at Tierney's Tavern in his home ttown of Montclair, NJ.
On to Phase 3, Post-Production of our documentary. We will continue to seek additional funds to now finish the film. For our two weeks of filming we have amassed an incredible amount of content that will now be crafted into what we feel is going to be an important story of hope, healing and understanding.

Background on the Documentary Film Project
A Peloton of One is an upcoming, full-length, documentary film that will follow the journey of Dave Ohlmuller as he cycles from Chicago, IL, to Montclair, NJ.
Sexually abused at the age of 12 years old, Dave will ride to inspire other Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) to come out and tell their stories. And he will ride to bring awareness of and to inspire action against the Statute of Limitations laws (SOL) as they relate to CSA. Laws that are currently being debated and voted upon in key states across America. Laws that are as antiquated as they are unjust. Laws that serve to silence the victimized and empower the predators.
Dave Ohlmuller has gathered key supporters and production talent to help him on his journey, including the following:
Bob Hoatson
President/Co-Founder of the Road to Recovery nonprofit organization that specializes in assisting child abuse victims across the USA. Bob is also a survivor of sexual abuse as a child.

Joe Capozzi
Joe wrote, produced and starred in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play, For Pete’s Sake, a dark comedy based on his own experiences of sexual abuse as a teen and young adult.
John Bernardo and Steve Mallorca
This team is responsible for a variety of TV content, web series, and documentary films that have aired on ESPN, NBCU, and Sundance TV. John is also a lifelong, high school friend of Dave’s.
Dave Ohlmuller will begin his journey as A Peloton of One. But at his end of his tour, he hopes to have amassed a support group that is thousands of miles long, all with a spirit as indomitable as his own.
Thanks for all your help and support to date. More updates to come!
