Beloved Gila Ridge High School Teacher, Coach and Yuma Native, Dave Robinson, has been stricken with an extremely aggressive and unusual bacteria that settled in his lungs, threatening his life.
The morning of June 7th, Dave was rushed to the hospital and since then has battled with the assistance of ICU staff at YRMC. He continues his fight, following an air evacuation to Banner University Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
While he has shown some slight improvement, his condition remains critical and any recovery will be a long one.
For many of us that know Dave, he is a caring, compassionate, and a kind-hearted person. He is always smiling, the life of the party and willing to help out wherever he can.
Dave and his family would appreciate any assistance to help ease these expenses. We continue to be appreciative of the depth of support and continued prayers for his full recovery. Fight on!!
