Dave Smith last wishes

Now our immediate family know it was a difficult decision to share on here but we feel Facebook can do great things sometimes and a way to get to those that may have lost contact over the years.
Two weeks ago we found out dad has lung cancer and Thursday they said it’s small cell lung cancer which is an aggressive form it has spread and will continue to spread fast they say 6 months with treatment maybe 3 without. We are not sure whether dad’s going to accept the treatment as he doesn’t want any nasty side effects and be feeling really unwell with it.
Those that know my dad knows what a strong fit man he was what kind genuine person he is and how close we are as a family we are completely devastated and words cannot describe what we are going through.
My dad’s a proud man and would never ask for help but as he’s daughter I want him to have the chance to do things we haven’t got round to doing yet he’s never been one for wanting extravagant things but we all have things we say we would like to do one day and I want him to have the best he deserves no less. But with just having Christmas and kids and mum now having to stop work money is a little tight and as I keep seeing these go fund pages I thought maybe il give it a try as if we had more time we could do the little things he would like but time is something we don’t have.
