Dave's Cancer Treatment

I'm raising this money for my Dad. My parents, Dave and Ruth, raised 6 kids, including one who is a Firefighter and another a Captain in the U.S. Army. His youngest son was a Senior Airman in U.S. Air Force. His youngest daughter is an ace cake decorator now stay at home mom.  His middle son has won multiple awards at Walmart as a custodian and his oldest daughter is a senior computer programmer who has worked for companies like Google, DoubleClick and GE.

Dad sacrificed a lot for us growing up to give us a good home and food on the table. Mom homeschooled all of us until college.

Dad and Mom now have 7 grandchildren (including a set of twins!) and another grandaughter arriving in August. My family is a bunch of comedians and we always have tons of inside jokes. Dad is the same way with the grandkids and they all love their Grandpa!! or Papa Dave as some call him.

My dad has advanced melanoma cancer, and he has the rare type that starts inside of your body. He has already had surgery once and now it is back. He's 72. I had my Grandpa for many many years and I want the same for my neices and nephews because Grandpa's are the best!

Dad wants to try a new holistic cancer treatment in Colorado. My parents are confident this is the best course of treatment for his condition. Unfortunately, it is not covered by insurance. Funds are needed for the treatment, and also food/housing while in Colorado.
