Dave, Christy & Sage Ilfrey

Through all this hurricane devastation I feel helpless. I've donated to the American Red Cross but I feel we all could do more. A very dear friend of mine and her family had a home in Aransas Pass. Dave, Christy & Sage Ilfrey. Christy and Sage were able to stay with her mother away from the danger. Dave stayed back to take care of the animals and try and salvage their business and home. The home is pretty much destroyed and of course all of their native plants and business have been destroyed as well. This family in my eyes is truly amazing!!! They literally live off the land. They don't have fancy cars or a fancy house because they CHOOSE to truly live without material possessions. I admire them for that!!
They own a business (Native Dave) and as their website states "In business and life, we are inspired to conserve, preserve, restore and celebrate Nature."
Christy and Dave have been out on Facebook trying to help support local businesses that have been destroyed and not once have gone out seeking help for themselves. Christy is about to head back and has even started collecting materials to bring to the families displaced from their homes in their area.  So with all that said I feel compelled to ask for help from all of you for THEM. We can truly make a difference in this family's life.
I have asked that they make their Facebook profiles public so those of you who are not yet privileged to know them can see how great they are! 
Of course all the money goes directly to them to try and help rebuild their lives in Aransas Pass.
So many of you are childhood friends of theirs, went to school with them, have done business with them etc..... but even if you've never heard of them you know me well enough to know that the need is there! I ask you to donate anything you can. Even if it's $5 it will help! Love to you all!
