Day by Day, Fighting Parkinson's

Riley and I -- with Sydney cheering us on from the sidelines this year -- are running in the Detroit Free Press International Half Marathon in October. We've decided not just to run for "fun" but to help advance a cause dear to our hearts: Parkinson's disease, which took the life of my dad and Riley's and Sydney's grandpa seven years ago.

We are fundraising for one of the marathon's leading charitable causes -- the Kirk H and Joann P Gibson Family Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
