Greetings and Salutations everyone!
My name is Ben Allotey and I'm an independent filmmaker behind the upcoming low budget urban/horror/crime flick entitled Dead Giveaway The Motion Picture. A film that combines friendship, a fatal robbery, vengeful spirits and a cursed revolver. A film that pays homage to my love forsurrealism, exploitation films, black and white B-Movies and sci-fi/horror anthology television shows.
Dead Giveaway The Motion Picture is a cross betweenThe Walking Dead, The Wire with a side of Supernatural. Back in August of 2010, I first embarked on this labor of love project with a small budget and a big imagination in my hometown of Worcester Massachusetts.
This film was shot over a ten month period from the Summer of 2010 to May 2011. After dealing with numerous difficulties and delays on the post-production side of the project, I'm happy to say that we are in the final phase of completion.
However, we need additional funds to achieve the goal of getting this film out to the masses in style.
The funds raised for this will go towards after effects and renting of venue. Anything over our projected goal, will be used for other production related expenses such as processing DVDS, studio time and movie related merchandise (i.e. T-shirts, Posters, Hats, Coffee Mugs, etc).
Through your efforts and support, we hope to obtain our objective of getting this film out for public consumption.
