Deaf Champions League

St John’s Deaf Ladies’s Football Club have a fantastic opportunity to compete in the Deaf Champions League in London 2019. We have youth members of the team who need to raise the funds to buy their kit, hire training courts, buy equipment, pay for travel and accommodation and cover costs for the week of the competition. The team are part of the wider charity of St John’s Deaf Community Club which provides access to Deaf people not only in North London where they are based, but from across the UK, due to their welcoming attitude. This team provides girls and women with the chance to compete with Paralympians, Deaflympians and GB Deaf Gold medal winners, and is a rare opportunity for them to have full access to sport through British Sign Language. All of the women in the team, as well as the coach and manager, are self-funded and therefore they desperate need funding to help facilitate this hard-earnt opportunity.
