Deborah Pitt's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Deborah Jane Pitt sadly passed away on the 25th April 2015, it was sudden and unexpected, leaving her family and all that knew her devastated.
Her family has set up this page so that friends and family can easily donate to some of things that made Deborah smile over the years.
The family is deciding in what form the donation may be, whether it be a plaque or something else, but below are the places that they are currently very keen on helping in Deborah's name.
"The wren and the nightingale sound nothing alike, but think how dull the world would be without the songs of both birds"
Martin Mere has been an important part of Deborah's life, as birdwatching came with the territory when she married her husband Kevin. Trips to Martin Mere have left the whole family with very fond memories and we hope that there will be many more, with Deborah in our hearts. "Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life. And everyone deserves a little sunshine."
Just last year Deborah found herself becoming a volunteer at the Butterfly House in Victoria Park, chatting to visitors, encouraging people to visit and hand over their cash to keep the place going. It is a beautiful spot and somewhere that she loved going.

"The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just on the body, but the soul."
Deborah absolutely loved gardening and it was a big part of her life, so we would love you to grow some wildflowers in her honour, anything that will bring the bees and butterflies to your garden.

It's not about the money, we have only put the £200 bit in because we had to (to make the page work). We shall update you as soon as possible about how it was spent.
