Help Denise Fight Cancer...Again!

My name is Debbie Shea. I am Denise Mansfield’s sister. I would like to share a little about Denise. If you know her, you already know what a sweet, loving, caring, giving person she is. She is loved by everyone who knows her.
Denise was diagnosed with breast cancer the first time in 2004! It returned in 2008 and again in 2012, each time requiring more and more treatments. In 2012, we discovered the cancer had gone to stage 4 and it was back with a vengeance. One of our nightmares became a reality. It had spread to her bones, which means the pain is more excrutionating and progressive.
Denise has endured numerous bouts of radiation, chemo therapy, and surgeries, some causing complications. Presently, she is trying a new oral chemo drug to see if it is more effective than the IV method. They have radiated as much as they can at this time. Because of the location, they cannot do surgery. She’s sick daily and it is getting more challenging to work and maintain her normal daily life.
Denise has to work 20 hours a week to keep her insurance. It is so hard on her body, but probably good in that she works with the most wonderful, supportive people and she loves her job. They have helped her to keep a positive attitude which has been huge in her recover. But life is getting tougher due to this current round of treatments. She is getting weaker, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
The money raised will help in daily living expenses and countless medical bills. I know this has been very humbling for her, but I also know she will pay it forward many times over. She always has.
We thank God for all the support she has with family and friends. It is only through the grace of God, the extraordinary support, and her faith that has enabled her to do as well as she has.
I cannot thank you enough for any help you can give Denise. We ask for prayer because we know God can do anything. She is on a relentless journey and will only get through it with God’s Almighty power. Thank you again.
