The Windrush Generation were invited to Britain from Commonwealth countries. Now the children they brought with them are now being told they are here illegally.
Dexter Bristol died in London on the 29th March 2018 destitute and isolated his death linked to the pressure unable to resolve his status as result of Windrush Scandal. He came to Britain in 1968 as an eight year old from Grenada when his mother was working for the NHS. He worked for many years paying his taxes.
His mother, Sentina Bristol, is a pensioner living in sheltered accommodation. His funeral takes place on the 17th of May and we are still raising £4000 toward the funeral costs. Any amount is appreciated.
