It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the death of our beloved Deputy First Class Norman Lewis. DFC Lewis was involved in a traffic crash at the intersection of Balboa Drive and North Pine Hills Road and succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
DFC Lewis was 35 years old and had been with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office since 2005. Norm was an esteemed member of our Motors/DUI Unit. He was a graduate of the University of Central Florida and played football for the Knights. He was a friend to everyone and always had a smile on his face. He will be deeply missed by many.
All money donated will go directly to Norman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John and Norma Lewis, for their sudden upcoming expenses. Please also continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
