Diana's life's dream

My name is Diana Glebova and I am a senior at Champlin Park High School in Champlin, Minnesota. I have been accepted to my dream college program: a Dual BA program between Sciences Po in Reims, France and Columbia University in New York City. I moved to the United States from Ukraine 12 years ago, and have made it my life's aspiration to work in International Relations. Sciences Po is the fourth most prominent political science school in the world, where I will earn a degree in European-American Relations. Additionally, I would earn an economics degree at Columbia University my junior and senior year. This program would provide me with the skill set and connections of becoming successful in International Relations. I have worked my whole life to get accepted; earning valedictorian of my class, learning three languages, and being a leader in my community through volunteering and athletics. I have grown up in an immigrant, single family household with a low income, but my mother and I have always made ends meet. But now, at a critical turning point in my future, we come at a financial crossroads. I am not eligible for a federal loan, as Sciences Po resides outside of the United States. My mother and I have gone to several banks and programs in order to get a private loan, but my mother can not be my co signer due to her debt to income ratio, as she is paying off my brothers and her student loans as well as a car and house. I have no other way to finance my dream education, as the rest of my family lives in Ukraine and do not support us financially. Friends, if there is any amount you can offer in order for me to make my life's dreams come true, I would be blessed and honored. One years tuition at Sciences Po is 12,000 dollars, and I am pursuing every road and method in order to reach that goal. Thank you very much for listening to my story
