Disaster Victims of Kanni-Kunda

As our village Jarra Kanni-Kunda is currently being inundated by extreme weather events during this rainy session, we kindly need your immediate financial/material assistance to;
1. Provide food items to victims within 48hrs of a disaster event.
2. Provide medical assistance to those injured
3. Provide disaster risk reduction training for all households
4. Provide building materials to victims for rebuilding their houses
4. Provide awareness on the importance of household savings for emergency reasons
5. Put pressure on local, regional & national authorities to build resilient infrastructures (e.g. better road, sewers, markets, etc.)
7. Provide psychological and emotion support to victims

The direct beneficairies would be worst affected households in Jarra Kanni-Kunda Village; one of the poorest and the most vulnerable districts in The Gambia, Lower River Region. The Village has nearly 800 households; some are already affected and needed our immediate and timely support.
